Since I've revamped my website, I never had a "news" section before 2008. So here's just a sum up of how my year went:
Kevin Michael's song "It Don't Make Any Difference to Me" featuring Wyclef. It was so exciting! I got to meet Kevin at Central Park's Summer Stage when Rugged N Raw was asked to be the "MPC drummer" for his performace (along with Akil Dasan). I have to give a huge thanks for my dude Doug from Downtown Records for hooking me up. I hope we got to do more in the future. Word of this spread and got to The Savannah College of Art & Design. Considering the job market, it's REALLY tough to stand out as a viable graphic designer in New York City. However with a few Craigslist pleas, I got a bite. Before I knew it I was freelancing for the BizBash Magazine. They were so happy with me, they offered me a full time position for the marketing department. So cool! It was completely opposite from anything I've ever tried, but I loved it. It was tough and absolutely hectic place to work (hello, it's New York), but I got high praise.
