hello!
Thank you for visiting my website!
So who am I? I'm a Graphic Designer. No not someone who bootlegged photoshop and self-proclaimed designer. In 2000, I graduated with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from The Savannah College of Art & Design. It wasn't easy, but I learned how to broaden my creativity and capture the imagination onto canvas and the computer. Not to mention how to network, and interact with people. I really love designing and to dazzle my clients with my work. It's awesome when they come back for new projects, and recommend me to others. It really makes me feel rewarded and surpass my previous creations. My style is constantly evolving... but then again... that's a good thing! I have to say I am very proud of my work ethics. I have many talents and take direction well. It's all about time management, organization, excellent communication, drive & experience. Friends in high places does play a huge part as well. I don't waste clients' time with late submissions, excuses, rushed work, or anything that may inconvenience them. I'm doing what it takes to help market talented individuals. I don't plan on being unnoticed in the background for too long. So if you think we can make a great team, call on me!
Have a good one!

25 Random Things...
01. I enjoy sitting home on Saturday nights watching REEL 13 on PBS.
02. Favorite movies include Moonstruck, Beetlejuice, Juno, Wildstyle, and Wall-E, An American Tail, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and many more. Genius.
03. Favorite musicians and bands include David Axelrod, Charlie Parker, The Beatles, Brother Ali, De La Soul, J Dilla, Nicolay, Pearl Jam, Joe Arroyo, Rakim, Coltrane, Portishead, Hector Lavoe, The Roots, Prince, Marvin Gaye, and... so many more!
04. I was picked on in school all the time. I was definitely a geek. It wasn't until college where I was finally accepted.
05. I actually read Domino Magazine a lot more than music magazines. I love decorating, patterns and colors. I try to bring the elements of interior decorating and fashion into my art work. Who cares what new "bling" some rapper put in his mouth? It's all so sad & old to me. Sucks Domino closed.
06. I LOVE to dance! Especially to Latin music. I stopped going out to clubs because all they play now is Reggaeton. I despise it.
07. My sister is a phenomenal cartoonist. Unfortunately she no longer has a website, but if you google Lisa Kuprijanow, you'll see some of her older works circulating on the web. She's now Lisa Hamdorf and a very happy mother of two boys in California. Her husband, Joe, is an animator for Tippett Studios (movies include: Twilight: New Moon, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Enchanted, Hellboy, and many more) Lucky!
08. I believe less is more. Especially when it comes to fashion. The less you expose of yourself, the more respect you gain. I'm not saying dress like a nun, but just have some self respect. You can be sexy without flesh falling out everywhere.
09. I hate texting. It's ok for simple little yes or no questions. But I don't get how people can have full blown texting conversations on their phones. Why not go back to morse code then? If you have to text me more than 3 times in one sitting, just call me.
10. I'm addicted to HGTV!!! Wish I could get the DIY Network.
11. Why are they putting TVs in Wendy's and McDonald's restaurants? A friend of mine said it really defeats the purpose of families actually going out to eat and converse with each other. I have to agree.
12. Every 3rd Sunday of the month, I and some local emcees hold a food & clothing drive in Jersey City, NJ. I think it's funny when rappers or other people "rep" where they're from, but don't know the history of their city or do anything to help heal their community. So if you'd like to contribute clothes, food, or your time contact me.
13. I'm shy, believe it or not. I feel like I bug people so I don't really reach out as much as I should. But once we get working, there's no stopping me.
14. Yup, I went to college with India.Arie. She was a jewelry major. She didn't speak to me much.
15. And yes, being in Savannah I DID eat at Paula Dean's restaurant "Lady & Sons". I personally loved the Italian restaurant in town, "Bellas" much better. Nothing personal. That's just the Jersey girl in me.
16. I've moved nearly 20 times in my life. I'm sick of moving. But you gotta do what you gotta do.
17. I used to sing all through junior high and high school. I always wanted to be a singer or an actress. But then I learned, if you don't have "the look" then you're not going to make it. So I decided to work behind thing scenes instead. I've learned, especially for women, it kinda matters there too. Ugh.
18. When I'm old and washed up, I'll be able to say "I designed a CD cover & promotional campaign for Questlove." He's truly an underrated musical genius of our generation.
19. I don't really enter any art competitions. Not because I don't think I'll place well, but they don't return your work -- win or lose. That's messed up.
20. I actually enjoy listening to hip hop instrumentals more than lyrics. How many times can one guy tell me how great he is? Jake One, Pete Rock,
J Dilla, The Are, Blockhead, Premier, Custodian of Records, DefDom, are just a few of the producers I can listen to all day.
21. Photoshop filters are evil. Unless you're creating something photo-realistic, please step awaaaaaaaaaaay from the filters.
22. I don't really like to use the popular free stock photo and stock vector websites. Too many other designers abuse them and after a while they all start looking alike. I have to keep it to a serious minimum.
23. I LOVE comedy. Nothing better than laughing so much where you make no sound and you're tearing up!
24. I'm so girly when it comes to make-up. I love it. I often think about going back to school to be a make-up artist. Maybe even take it a step further and do stage make-up. Maybe one day...
25. Don't care too much for video games anymore. They're way too graphic and violent these days. But then again, Mario Bros. DID have a thing for mushrooms. Hmmmmm........
